Items - need ability to ship confirm in lbs in US and MTN in Europe

 We are having a delima - we have one product that's prodcued both in the US and in Europe.  When the product is ordered in the US in a bulk form, its ordered and shipped in LBS.  When the same product is ordered in Europe, its ordered and ship confirmed in MTN's.

We really do not want to have to setup 2 items - we wpuld preffer to always order just 1 item.

Any suggestions?
