Service request update API

 HI, I'm using service request update API (CS_ServiceRequest_PUB.Update_ServiceRequest ) to update summary column. It actually updates the summary column, but at the same time it is updating other columns like urgency, severity, DFF's (external-attribute_1 etc) to NULL. I was going thru some notes in metalink and found a bug related to this. can any one please let me know if you have faced this issue and got it resolved after applying patch?
