What is the purpose of the Currency Code (CRCD) Field on Payment Instrument Defaults?

What is the purpose of the Currency Code (CRCD) Field on Payment Instrument Defaults?

It can be used in conjunction with the currency processing processing option of Create Payment Ground (P04570) to direct the system to the desired write/ register/attachments programs on the Payment Instrument Defaults (P0417) program.  For example, if the same bank account is used to pay out foreign vouchers in the currency of the voucher, but each foreign currency requires a different write program, the currency code of the payment can be used to locate the desired write program. In the example below, 1.1110.BEAR is in a USD currency company.
