OLFM Contract Import for Released Assets

 Need to use the OLFM Contract Import process to import released assets on a new contract. What identifies a release contract with existing assets and a new contract that creates assets in FA on the contract import interface tables? Is there documentation on how to import release contracts or someone I can talk with to discuss how to import released contacts.
