Cannot change mass additions batch from new to post

 We are loading assets as "new" to the mass additions table but when going back into the batch and choosing to post all, we receive an error - although all required fields are there and it is possible to do one by one, without having to complete any required fields which might have been missing.  Has anyone had this problem?
