Take in account the time during Promised Shipment and Delivery Date Calculation!

All logistic dates calculation are quite powerful, especially with transportation module (work day calendar) but why JDE don't take in account the timing of the sales order entry. I mean, if you send an order for picking to the warehouse, most of the time, the lead day for picking and/or the delivery days will be based on the sales order entry time (or calculated again with the batch preference job when the sales order lines are sent to the warehouse). 

Shoud it be possible to add a timing information in the lead/delivery preference definition (After noon, the lead day will be increased by one day for instance) ?
