Oracle OLAP Option component

 We are in a process of OBIEE implemention and have the following quetsions.

Do we need Oracle license for Oracle OLAP Option component? I have asked this question from our sales rep and still no response as they are passing me to different group.  Any assistance on this greatly appreciated.  thanks
