RMAN Backups from Physical Standby to ASM Disk Group - How to get these to production if needed?

 Hello:

I'm using my single node physical standby to take nightly RMAN backups to one of the ASM disk groups.  I'm not sure how to get these backups from the standby node to the production environment.  When I've needed a clone, I take RMAN backups to a filesystem and then ship to the needed destination.  So far I've been very (very) lucky not to need the ASM resident backups for recovery.

Now the database is huge, so backups to filesystems are not practical.  How do I get backups made to ASM disk groups to production?  Production is a four node 10.2.0.4 RAC.
