Announcement: Grid Control's backup and restore functionality for Oracle Application Server middle-t

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to inform you that the Grid Control 10g and 11gR1 feature that allows you to backup and restore your Oracle Application Server middle-tiers from within Grid Control is scheduled for deprecation in a future release of Grid Control.  Development is very interested in knowing how this will affect your monitoring strategy.  To learn more details and get workarounds, see Note.1139405.1.  If you would like your voice heard, please post your questions and concerns in this thread.   Your feedback is very important to us.
