Hello,

     I read the next note about dataguard  

http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239.pdf ,

then I have several questions.

     - 1 - I do not understand which manage dataguard.

               - is it brocker or OEM or manually ?

                     - If Oem have I to install package and pay a licence for it ?

                     - If brocker, have I to install a patch or package on an other server. and If "yes" what and where is the patch ?

    - 2 - My database primary failed who modify  the secondary database and start this database in mode primary ? OEM, Brocker or mannually ?
