the unit cost field(column) on miscellaneous recept is not active

 Hi everyone

When i do miscellaneous receipt i also want to enter the unit cost of an item but the unit cost field is grayed out. We are doing a stock take and we want to see the value of the stock. We are using a standard costing method. Any suggetion will be highly appriciated.
