[10.2.0.4 on W2K3] converting character set : using note 555823.1

 Hi, I want to convert a database from WE8IS08859P1 to WE8MSWIN1252
I try to understand the note 555823.1

Step 3 tells me I've got lossy data so I go to step 4
I have to check that all my datas is English and West European or Latin American
The note tells : "You will need to double check the used clients" : I don't understand, I'm dealing with databases isn't it ?
How can I do to ensure that all my datas is English and West European or Latin American?

Then I take a look at P1check.err and see that euro character is fine and other characters too e accute,...etc
