Question:  Problems running VTCS IMPORT against a set of libraries at HSC/VTCS version 6.2 while running an active system HSC/VTCS 6.1.  My HSC/VTCS system is currently at version 6.1.  I am trying to run a VTCS IMPORT batch job against a set of VTCS 6.2 libraries with the IMPORT performance PTF installed.

My initial problem was that the performance of VTCS IMPORT in my HSC/VTCS 6.1 system was unacceptable.  I was advised that there were PTFs at 6.2 and 7.0 that made a big difference to performance in this area.

I installed NCS 6.2 with the latest cumulative fixes.  I then attempted to run my entire IMPORT process pointing to the 6.2 load modules. The process consists of allocating new CDS’s, running a LIBGEN, running a VTCS CONFIG, and finally running the IMPORT using the latest manifest file as input.  Well, the LIBGEN went fine, but the VTCS CONFIG failed with a high code 12 and the following messages:

Howdy, Stranger!
