Automatic Shared Memory Management and OSM Setup

The OSM Setup/Installation guide has the following recomendations for

1. db_cache_size - 256 MB (small), 768 MB (medium), 1024 MB (large)

2. shared_pool_size - 128 MB (small), 256 MB (medium), 512 MB (large)

Now if Automatic Shared Memory Management (ASMM) is enabled for the OSM database, should these values be set to '0' and allowed to be managed by the ASMM or should they be set to a minimum value (using the Setup/Installation guide recomendations) or should ASMM not be used at all?
