 Hello everyone,
We are running Rdb 7.1.5.2-1 on OpenVMS 7.3-2.
I wanted to share my doubts concerning the monitor disk/item=queue screen info :

OpenVMS Monitor Utility
                              DISK I/O STATISTICS
                                 on node AXPDB
                             9-JUL-2010 15:00:58.17

I/O Request Queue Length                   CUR        AVE        MIN        MAX

$1$DGA9:      (AXPDB)  CORAL              0.00       0.16       0.00       7.00 <----------- volume in question
$1$DGA10:     (AXPDB)  MAROON          0.00       0.13       0.00       6.66 <----------- volume in question
$1$DGA11:     (AXPDB)  PINK                 0.00       0.00       0.00       1.00
$1$DGA12:     (AXPDB)  BROWN            0.00       0.00       0.00       1.00
$1$DGA13:     (AXPDB)  SALMON           0.00       0.00       0.00       1.33
$1$DGA14:     (AXPDB)  ROSE                0.00       0.00       0.00       0.66
$1$DGA15:     (AXPDB)  SIENNA             0.00       0.13       0.00       6.33 <----------- volume in question
$1$DGA16:     (AXPDB)  SEPIA               0.00       0.20       0.00       6.33 <----------- volume in question
$1$DGA17:     (AXPDB)  NAVY                0.00       0.01       0.00       2.66
$1$DGA20:     (AXPDB)  MAGENDA        0.00       0.00       0.00       0.00

Should it be treated yet as the bottleneck despite the fact that the average values seem to be good ?

Howdy, Stranger!
