Why are some of my remaining bars within the gnatt chart missing?

I have a schedule in Primavera in which quite a few of the remaining work task bars are not displaying, however they are showing on some.  I have been unable to identify a common characteristic.  I have played with the "Bars" options window and still have the same results.  Can you help?
