Contact email in Installed Base - loss of feature in r12
In 11i the Contact's email address was pulling from the business contact - which is generally where I would expect B to B companies to maintain contact information. However, in r12 Installed Base the Contact's email address is pulling from the PERSON party - which I would expect no B to B companie to maintain.
This is a significant feature loss and will cause additional steps to be taken - users working from IB will not have to query the in the eBC to to locate the contact and obtain their email address.
Can this be overcome with personalization?
