OCH/UCM Install

I am a new Siebel user and am preparing to pilot the latest OCH/UCM.  I believe this is Siebel 8.1.1 as I could not locate an available version of 8.2 (Only for public companies).   I will be starting soon and have combed through the manual pretty good.  Any tips/tricks relating to things I may need or things that were not included in the manual?
