Hello,
after about 1 year of running Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 in production environment i run now second time in failure during backup:

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-03002: Fehler bei backup plus archivelog Befehl auf 07/10/2010 01:06:10
ORA-04030: Zu wenig Prozessspeicher für Versuch 1049100 Bytes zuzuweisen (KSFQ heap,KSFQ Buffers)

I searched in several communities about this failure and found some clues, but it ended in a question.

Some Info for suggestions:

Windows 2003 R2 32bit Enterprise Edition
Intel XEAON 5420 s GHz
3.75 GB RAM
running on VMWare ESX V 4.00

1. The oracle process uses 1712.39893 MB memory.
2. When looked in snapshot at failure time, i found out, that PGA is not in memory issues.

Howdy, Stranger!
