  I have a  V490 is running Solaris 10:

uname -a
SunOS pdgonzo 5.10 Generic_127127-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490
 
cat /etc/release
                       Solaris 10 5/08 s10s_u5wos_10 SPARC
           Copyright 2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc.  All Rights Reserved.

Daily I run a script against /var/adm/messages and email the results to myself.  This morning the email contained a vary serious sounding message:

Jul  9 21:37:46 pdgonzo ufs: [ID 703900 kern.warning] WARNING: ufs_readdir: bad dir, inumber = 1394, fs = /

Note: This is a production server.  At this point it has not been down:
uptime
 11:04pm  up 99 day(s), 20:42,  2 users,  load average: 0.94, 0.68, 0.39
