CWB - Stock Option Posting

In CWB, how should the posting of stock options be controlled?

For example, if a CWB plan has an option for entering shares, is there a standard screen / entity where this data should get saved in Core HR during posting? Or should the standard rate for this be linked to an element and then the element be configured to process as per business rules (Similar to Bonus Payrouts via CWB)?
