Sales Order Header History Inquiry

 We are looking to see how other companies are handling accessing the order header history to view as an inquiry once the order is closed and you purge the header to history file.  We have a need to be able to see what the information on the header was and currently the only way to do this is to leave the header out there and not purge it to the history file.  This causes other problems so looking to see what others have done.
