Delete routings having common routing item referenced

 We need to delete routings from Oracle wherein routings are referenced to a common routing item. We need to assign the routings to a different common routing item. We are using delete group to delete existing routings and get a delete constraint  'RTG_CON3' error. Could we disable this constraint temporarily so we could delete existing routings and define the new ones? I know this is a system constraint and we could enable it after deletion process is complete. Changing the common routing item on existing routings is a frequent process here due to nature of the business.

Any feedback / experience will be appreciated
