reuse of database file question

 Dear All, I wish to know if I've copy datafile A & datafile B from another instance PROD (copy after the instance down), then move them to a new instance TEST, is it possible for me to issues the command reuse in create tablespace and the data inside datafile A & datafile B still the maintain as it is after the tablespace created.
