Oracle application 11.5.10 compatibility with oracle11g database

Hi

We are having oracle11i application(11.5.10.2) with oracle9.2.0.6 database. Thinking of database upgradation  from 9i. Can we upgrade from oralce9i to oracle11g. Is it compatible with oracle11i application(11.5.10.2) ? Is there any oracle document for upgradation with oracle applications 11i.
