 Hi All,

I have been assigned a upgrade task from 8.1.7.0.0 to 10.2.0.4 on Window 2000 service pack 4.

I am new to Window.So please let me know how to login in oracle and also how to check the Bit(64/32) in window.

I am having the password of sys and oracle and trying to login like sqlplus

Username=sys

Pass=******** as sysdba. but getting below error:

ORA-12560:TNS:Protocol adapter error.
