Payment Terms on Service Contracts

 The payment terms on a service contract is a requried field (which we currently have it defaulted based on the template we have setup), but we have a site which is requesting that the payment terms be pulled off of the customer record.  Does service contracts handle being able to pull payment terms off of the customer record in the module?  If so, how would I go about doing this?
