Feedback on LD_LIBRARY_PATH and NFS performance

Our site has been seeing general overall performance problems on our production EBS. We had consultants come and recommend some configuration improvements which haven't helped much. Our hardware resources are very generous, but we still see bad throughput, especially when a few people do some heavy processing (heavy is just order processing, PIM, etc).

I'm wondering if the environmental variable named LD_LIBRARY_PATH is our problem.

Here is what it is currently set at-

 

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=

/u01/oracle/DEVL/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/jdk/jre/lib/i386

/u01/oracle/DEVL/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/jdk/jre/lib/i386/server
