Splitting Expenditures in Projects

 In Projects we can split one expenditure item into two expenditure items in the Expenditure Inquiry form.  The standard functionality allows multiple splits - after splitting into two again you can choose each one and again split them.  This is not acceptable to the client.  Is there way to split into more than two expenditure items at one go.

Any feedback/responses from members will be greatly appreciated.

Another question:  In Oracle Payales while entering project info - project number, task, expenditure item date, expenditure type and expenditure organization, there is also field for Project Quantity.  Can some one clarify on the purpose of this field. Whether this info is transferred to Projects, if yes, can some one clarify the table and column name or the front end form name and field name.
