 Hi Everybody in the group,

wanted to know how Oracle takes care of leap year factor while calculating the depreciation by days, we have noticed that irrespective of the year it divides the amt by 366 days.is there any procedure so that leap year factor is taken into consideration while calculation.

For example in my organization when I have run the depreciation for the year say Oct 2007,November 2007 and December 2007

we have noticed that it is divided by 366 days, ideally it should have been 365 days only.

If anybody is aware of the solution kindly help me out.The depreciation calculation given by oracle becomes huge as the cost of the items are of quite high value and there are lot in number in my organization.

Howdy, Stranger!
