How to identify oracle client process using the PID.

Hi!

We are constantly having a performance degradation every now and then and the first thing we do is to kill a 'java' process that is consuming a large CPU%. By doing so, our system recovers eventualy. However, we wanted to know, how can we identify the user process or concurrent request (using the PID that we killed) that might be the cause of system lag.

In other words, how can we relate the PID that is appearing on the list of oracle process to the actual process of the user. In this way, we can reschedule that users process to a time when the system usage is low.

Howdy, Stranger!
