Ho wto install OEM as a speerate user id than the Oracle DB owner

 I have Oracle 10.2 inatalled for the database as the oracle user id on UNIX with OEM 10.2 as a seperate user ID. This has sorts of problems with permissions. We have been fighting this issue since Feb. 2010 and have not resolved it. Has anyone tried this? With any luck?
