FILESPERSET VS MAXOPENFILES during backups

 Gurus,
 Currently we have an issue with backups being deduplicated( deduplication at the storage level) using 3rd party software vendor  and vendor recommends to have MAXOPENS FILES  and FILESPERSET setting to 1.
