Seeking info on credit card payments (AP) for E1...

I am involved in a project to investigate electronic payment methods, including ACH, EFT, and credit cards.  We currently have p-cards (Visa) for incidental purchases, but would like to pay some of our larger vendors with p-card also.  Desired solution would still have purchase order entry, receipt, and voucher, but payment via p-card somehow rather than check, ACH, etc.

I'm not asking for someone to design a solution for me , but I'd like to know if anyone else has done this, and whether you used existing JDE functionality as a starting point, or completely custom?  Thanks!
