Unhooking MRP - impact to Costing / ATP / Items?
we are looking into doing an implementation but excluding MRP...
Current set-up is full MRP (no longer actively used) - Inventory with items configured for ATP - Order Management using ATP for scheduling and fulfillment.
Going through the r12 docs I have come across references to MRP in:
Costing - for cost rollup
Inventory - Workday calendar; pegging (currently set to None); planning method (Set to MRP / MPS Planned) and calculate ATP (set to Yes).
Has anyone here similar experience of running ATP, costing etc without Planning configured.
At first glance I think we will be ok but it would be good to get some feedback before we start down that route.
