PARTY MERGE - Party merged to itself with different address info

in Receivables - EBS (MOSC) Question
Hi,

I am investigating an occurrence of a party being merge to itself.  The From and To sites are different (address, city, county, and zip).  I cannot seem to recreate this.  Is there any situation/functionality that would allow this?
