Autovue Activex control NOT working on 64bits OS

 We've been using the autovue activex control 19.2 in a vb.net application with no problem. When I try to run the application on a Xp 64bits OS machine it just starts and close inmediately by itself with no messages.  I got installed VStudio 2k8, the vb.net application, and Autovue 2D Profesional on the 64bits machine, Added the control to the form and the application crash when tried to compile giving the message

The error is: Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))"         

Is there something we're missing or the control simply won't work on 64bits?
