Database is not allowing new conneciton after sometime

 Hi

  we have very critical database of 20 TB in size. This databas eif of versio 10.2.0.4 on AIX platform. We are observing that this database is not allowing new connnection after sometime . However , the connected connection stay connected and working perfectly.At the time of issue, if we check for background processes, all are available as well as memory segment by using " ipcs -ma" is marked as Deleted on O/s level. It would be good, if somoene can help me to resolve this issue.
