BI Publisher & MS Word Org Chart

Can anyone describe how to use automate the production of an Organization Chart in BIP (similar to the format of MS Word Organization Chart template)?  We found this exerpt ("Use the organization chart functionality in your templates and the chart will be rendered in the output.") in the BIP User Guide, but haven't been successful in getting it to work.  Please advise.  Thanks!
