How does Oracle system sequence the tansactions if Cost Manger is not concurrently running with the
I am a new Accountant assigned to monitor the inventory costing in Oracle (R12)
system for our company, currently due to a huge Average Cost Variance amount
(ACV) in our book; I need to find a solution to rectify this issue as well as
identifying the correct accounts to close this average cost variance account.
According to the researched I have done, variance is due to negative inventory
balance, driven if we allow negative balance in the organization window
parameter in Oracle Inventory.
Another scenario that I need to share is that, in our company we are not concurrently running the Cost Manager with our daily activities due to some company operation issues so we do run costing as per schedule basis; in short we are not on-line.
