"Map Related Shipments" functionality

 Hello,

When I click on the action "Map Related Shipments" OTM attempts to display the mapped shipment but the shipment has a starting or ending point somewhere in the ocean southwest of the continent of Africa.  This happens regardless of the locations on the shipment.  There is nothing in OTM Help to point to additional configuration requirements for this functionality to work properly so I ask the community for hints/tips/tricks.  Is Lat/Long required on locations?  We're doing exclusively North American shipments, and using Rand McNally Milemaker to calculate distance.
