newer version of vsftpd with better TLS support (OUL 4)

The latest version of vsftpd available for OUL 4 is 2.0.1-6.  The product has much newer releases that provide much more reliable TLS support.  Is there a recommendation of just how much newer a package I can reliably run on my server and where I might get it?  Thanks for any advice.
