Delays in Organization Item in Inventory R12

 Is anyone else experiencing slower response or delays in the Organization Item form since upgrading to R12?  We seem to get the hourglass every time you click on something & saves are slow.  Purchasing also has one form that seems to be slower.  The one common feature between both forms is that they have fields with account numbers (possible tie in to all the headaches the finance/accounting people have had with the upgrade process).  It's aggravating to have poorer performance with the new version.  It's slower when making the initial settings in Organization Item when creating an item & when
