Upgrade E-Business 11.5.10 to R12.1

 We are starting to upgrade our 11.5.10.2 apps tier (ccmgr,web,forms,etc)
which is on HP-UX and the new R12 apps tier will be on Linux.
We just started reading all the R12.1 upgrade docs and it seems that we
don't have to migrate our current 11.5.10 to Linux, but could run TUMS
on the 11.5.10.2 HP-UX side, and then use R12 Rapid Wiz on Linux to lay
down the new code trees and apps infrastructure.
Will this work? Has anyone done this?
