CPU patches

 Hi after applying  10.2.0.4   and 11.1.0.7  no patch has been applied in 10g and 11g databases of the environment.
now i  intend to apply CPU patches but i do not know from which one to start and how we make sure they do not conflict and cause trouble ,please kindly advice.Thanks
