Customization in Auto Create form

We need customization in Auto create form. If there is any help in this regards. infact system standard description is of 240 charaters while our description in most cases increased to 1000+ characters. and user want to enter it from front end. because we donot allow user to update description in item master form so he cannot use long description for this purpose.

If any suggestion We welcome that.
