Inventory Issue to EAM Work Order

We are implementing EAM. One of our issues is communicating with Inventory when we have to create a PO for inventory items. Creating the req is easy, we just run the Min-Max report, but after receipt of the inventory, we need to issue the item to the work order and we see no good process for doing this. Does anyone have any ideas on how we could accomplish this. That is we receive inventory that we need to issue to a work order, how do we know this needs to be accomplished.
