what columns are controlling the active status of the inventory item?

 
what columns are controlling the active status of the inventory item? I know there is INVENTORY_ITEM_STATUS_CODE , this is to set active or inactive, but is there any other column controlling it?

I manually update the status to inactive, the oracle displays inactive , but i still need to do it again in oracle so that this item cannot be used? anyone know the trick? 

It is the master item function from Inventory, I have a lot of item needed to be changed from active to inactive, like a few hundreds, it will be to tedious to change one by one,   so i would like to know if there is any way to do it quickly. thanks
