TCA Alternate name is not visible in the list of values

 Hi Friends,
We are on R12.1.1. All our China address are entered in Chines in TCA . even though i added a English name as the alternate name for the original chines province name . when creating supplied address English name i entered is not available in the list of values, only chines name is shown.

Please suggest what need to be done.
