Can R12 MOAC be used when operating units are linked to different ledgers and different chart of acc

Hi,

Does anyone know if the R12 Multi Org Access Control (MOAC) functionality can be used when the operating units belong to different business groups and different legal entities? The operating units are also linked to different ledgers with different chart of accounts, can you use MOAC in this scenario?

  • Business Group A

Legal Entity A

Operating Unit A

Ledger A

Chart of Accounts Structure A

  • Business Group B

Legal Entity B

Operating Unit B

Ledger B

Chart of Accounts Structure B

Can you use Multi Org Access Control to create one responsibility that can create transactions for Operating Unit A and Operating Unit B even though these operating units are attached to different ledgers, which in turn are linked to different chart of accounts?
